Denise Castronovo of Castronovo Chocolate created two exclusive bars for 37 Chocolates: a single varietal chocolate bar made with Piura Blanco cacao beans from Peru, as well as some cupuaço bars.

Cupuaço (Theobroma grandiflorum) belongs to the Theobroma genus. Blended with cocoa butter and sugar, they lead to a product reminiscent to chocolate, with a creamier texture and very surprising notes of toffee.

During this 90-minute tasting, you’ll learn what makes these bars special to us and their importance in conservation efforts.
